WOBA will be holding their first annual mini fiddling contest. It will be held on Sept 7th, the first day of the Bluegrass In the Cornfield festival sept 7-10 2011. There will be cash prizes. Entry is free with paid admission to the festival. There will be youth, adult and championship divisions. Entrys close at 6:30 pm. The contest begins at 7pm. The annual bean supper begins at 5pm.

Mr. Terris also handles repairs on all fretted instruments at the shop. The shop has also started a new line of fiddles under the $1600 mark that are specially suited to the fiddle playing crowd.
